Michelle Schwalbach joined Growth Acceleration full time in 2013. She has more than 22 years’ experience in accounting and administrative management, including forecasting, financial reporting and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and international operations. Prior to joining GAP, Ms. Schwalbach was the Controller for Digby, a mobile commerce solution provider for retailers, from 2008 to August 2012. Digby sold to Phunware in 2013. From April 2001 to February 2008, Ms. Schwalbach was the Controller for Pinion Software (formerly Infraworks) which provided security software solutions. Pinion Software sold to GigaTrust in 2008. From May 1999 to April 2001, Ms. Schwalbach served as Controller for HotData., a provider of online data quality services. HotData sold to Group 1 Software in May 2001.
Ms. Schwalbach serves on the Supervisory Committee of Amplify Credit Union. She holds a B.B.A. in business from the University of Alabama and she is a Certified Public Accountant.
Marianela Rojas has been part of GAP since 2008. She started as a web developer and worked her way to becoming the VP of Web Technologies Practice & Delivery. With a demonstrated history of working in the outsourcing/offshoring industry, Marianela is highly skilled in Agile Methodologies, project management, client management and strategic organization. She is a strong information technology professional with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) focused in Ing. Sistemas from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología.
Andrea Mena Quesada is the Vice-President of Operations at GAP. She is an MBA, with a background in psychology from the UCR, with more than 10 years of experience in the operations responsibilities of the IT industry, both in Costa Rica and Colombia. Andrea oversees the areas of Human Resources, Staffing, Marketing, Finance and Facilities for GAP LATAM. She has a strong commitment to operational excellence and during her 8 years at GAP, Andrea has contributed to the growth of the operation from 11 to 250+ employees.
Erika Carvajal is a software engineer with more than 10 years’ experience in development and managing complex projects for a diverse clientele. She is passionate about building teams that continuously deliver value by promoting an Agile mindset across the company. Erika’s mission at GAP is to set the overall direction on how GAP consistently delivers high-quality results to our clients.
