Profile & Challenge
The White House Mess staff faced challenges with the traditional menu display, which was broadcast on 37 PowerPoint slides through the internal cable network. The system was cumbersome, and the slide sequence often did not match the time of day.
SOLUTION & OUTCOME
GAP was tasked with creating a display that would concisely and elegantly show the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, including a user-friendly admin dashboard for staff management. They developed a solution with new features such as an RSS feed, daily weather updates, a photo rotator showcasing meals and specials, a section for guest chefs, and updatable menus. The custom admin area allows for easy updates to the menu by the White House Mess staff and the head chef.
