Profile & Challenge
The challenge was to create a way to connect with the audience of the TV show "Top Chef" on mobile devices and monetize content, including 200 lessons, 20 courses, and over 60 hours of video content from former chef contestants.
SOLUTION & OUTCOME
GAP designed and developed the Top Chef University (TCU) tablet and mobile app, enabling home chefs to watch videos and recreate dishes from their favorite chef contestants. The solution included a microsite, a web layer for sharable content, and support service integration on various platforms. The app was a success, with over 400,000 downloads and accolades from the Wall Street Journal and recognition at South by Southwest (SXSW)​.
