Mercer Transportation sought to improve driver communication and eliminate the need for drivers to rely on call centers, transcribing information from calls, and maintaining paper records. The company needed a mobile app to allow their network of 2,500 owner-operators to complete check-ins and communicate directly with Mercer HQ through their mobile devices.
SOLUTION & OUTCOME
GAP created iOS and Android apps for Mercer’s drivers, enabling access to all essential information about their loads, destinations, pickups, and drop-offs on their phones. This solution provided a frictionless experience for the distributed workforce, allowing drivers to chat with the main office, log customer information, create a paper trail, and report estimated times of arrival.
