LogicMonitor

LogicMonitor, an infrastructure monitoring provider, engaged with GAP for “team augmentation” across two of its software features. We provided engineers to support the in-house team and increase velocity. The original remit saw GAPsters working on the QA automation side with the client’s engineers in Santa Barbara, CA, before earning the opportunity to work on front-end development.

The client’s stack and way of working has idiosyncrasies with regard to application size, application complexity and toolset. LogicMonitor also has a strong, scalable, cross-functional Scrum culture. The challenge for GAP engineers is therefore two-fold: the level of technical expertise demanded must be very high to start with, but even if this bar is cleared, not all engineers who tick all the boxes on paper will turn out to be a good fit.
